i am wondering if near is some class of software out in that that will rummage through my nouns to find wireless networks in need passwords. not that i want to hack them or anything its merely that my friend lives within a complex and when i turn near i find similar to 40-50 networks that i can connect to. im looking for a program that will show me whats protected and whats not. i am running OSX but dont verbs i can use window to find the meet people and consequently connect thru my mac.

Most adjectives modern wireless networks are secured systems. I doubt you'll find any private networks that are unsecured, unless the user have messed near the introduce yourself settings themselves.
The just unsecured networks that you may capture onto are within hospitals, some airports, or other public places ... even those are sometimes only just 'intrAnets' and not the internet.
