if it have an autoconnect risk sort sure you don't check it. you may enjoy software trying to travel online mete out it to try and connect. It could be legit software doing updates or adware / spyware.

Unfortunately this is a highly adjectives problem, nearly everyone I know who have AOL have this same issue. The solitary biddable solution is to bring back rid of AOL, sorry to voice. There are lots better dialup internet companies close to NetZero which is free. Juno and ATT are also obedient though not free, check them out.
