I enjoy a bright Hp notebook. The laptop have Vista on. Having great problems next to wireless internet. I can connect using the cable but cannot use wireless!
When setting up the nouns it stats the WEP code I put this is surrounded by etc etc and asks for a switch I of late hand down it at 1….
Vista picks up the wireless and connects and stats it have ‘excellent’ connectivity nonetheless when click internet explorer it fail to nouns. When I dance into the properties it receive no packet?
Any thinking, tips would be MUCH appreciated! Also I am using bt home hub

I enjoy a BT hub you requirement to enter the SSID bthomehub?after the wireless switch you will find on your hub at the spinal column beneath the ssid number you must use this number because it is peerless to your hub
what type or wireles router do you enjoy? i enjoy a gateway 286 and the wep code is on the bottom of the router, please go and get posterior beside me
have you installed another program to have power over the wireless nouns? ie on ethat come next to the laptop if the be one?
my missus have this problem and be found that you requirement to allow window to do admin the nouns on its own near no other nouns supervision programs running.
finally we phoned BT and they dialed into her lappy whilst connected through a cat5 cable and sorted it out for us.
also check the internet explorer settings. plain up IE, stir to tools ==> internet option ==> connections tab ==> brand sure "never dial a connection" is ticked, later walk to LAN Settings and tick "automatically detect settings"
this may solve it, otherwise phone BT b/band serve
