I am shifting to a D Link which is faster and have better scale.
When I put within the D Link install cd I get a error that say if I am installing bringing up the rear another router I involve to rework that routers IP address but it did not recount me how to do that which is what I have need of to know how to do. I be using a Linksys router. Any info on how to solve this problem will be greatly appreciated.

The best item to do is seize the Linksys out of near and basically install the d-link. The speed of the gridiron will be determined by your slowest component. So if you quit the slow linksys in your netwrok speed will not amend.
What model Linksys and what model d-link are you using? You should really not obligation to adjust the IP addressd on the router.
