I've get a Realtek RTL8139/810x Family Fast Ethernet NIC. Can i connect it to a wireless router?

Just get a spanking new laptop. And realised that it's get this Network access card. I want to connect it to a router. Am i competent to connect the laptop to a wireless router and if so is it complicated to do? If its not compatable is it unyielding to install a unmarked framework card??

isn't that rtl8139/810x nic is for wired connections? i regard as you would entail a UTP cable and connect it to a switch or broadband router. you would be need a wireless LAN card to know how to connect to your wireless router.
realtek does contribute wireless LAN cards. sample are RTL8180, RTL8187...
