The Sony PSX3 have the capacity to turn upside down for medium servers, I want to know how do I gain a medium server for window xp?

Answers: Media servers are programs that allow you to share your music and video over a grating. Itunes and the fresh Windows Media Player own these option.

You have need of to be running the server on a compter on your make friends consequently when you goto your PSX3 you will see the optionto connect to it..

.It be uncomplicated for me to set-up. There are oodles ways and different programs you can use, but, heres what I did:

1. Make sure PS3 is connected to your network
2. Install Windows Media Player 11 on your computer to be precise attached to matching network
3. In WMP11 run to Tools>Options
4. In the option dialog box click the library tab, afterwards click Configure Sharing
5. You should see adjectives the computers on your grating AND an "unknown device" (which is your PS3)
6. Right click on "unknown device" and select Allow

Now if you progress subsidise to your PS3 you should see a Windows-looking statue at the top of Pictures, Music and Video section. Use that god to access your content library. (This assumes that you set up WMP11 so adjectives your medium is within its library) I can access any video, music or picture (as long as the PS3 can read the format) from my computer on the other wrap up of the house, I love it!

**NOTE: I'm not sure if the PS3 requires a restart for this to work.

And another entity I found out be every time you reset your computer you want to re-allow sharing. I other bestow mine on so its no biggie, but it could find annoying if you turn it on and past its sell-by date.
