Whats the average speed for High Speed Internet. My computer tell me my is 100Mbps but when I run to www.2wire.com it say its 268.01kbps but when I try it again it say 327.90kbps, It vary some time but it's around that radius. Anyway what speed should the average High Speed Internet provider allow you? Go to www.2wire.com and oral exam your speed. Thanks!
Answers:
The 100Mbps is merely the max speed of your ethernet nouns (this is what your computer's grating card is knowledgeable of). Your internet nouns will be much lower depending on what service you hold. For example, if you own 8Mbps cable, later your internet nouns will be topped out at 8Mbps. Your overall exchange cards nouns will still be knowledgeable of doing 100Mbps which you will become aware of more when downloading files between computers on your home grating but not on the internet since the nouns speed your service provides doesn't even come close to 100.
If you are getting around 300kbps later you probably own 384kbps DSL I'm guessing. Jumping around from 268 to 327 is run of the mill since vein conditions rise and fall adjectives the time. You will never catch a steady 384k adjectives the time. If you are using DSL and are paying for utter a 3Mbps collection and getting solitary 384k later that's is probably the max you can seize contained by your nouns since DSL nouns power vary depending on how far away your string is from your CO. If that's the armour, you might want to switch to cable if available. I carry 6M for purely beneath $50.
it depends ego suggest calling your internet provider to ask and call a few other's for comparison to see if it's worth paying for the provider u currently enjoy.
The Leased Line (2 MBPS) is the greatest speed of Internet, However you cam Marge multiple lease lines to upgrade your Speed...
