Okay, I hold 2 computers set up on wireless internet. When one computer downloads updates, music, etc, it lags the crap out of the other computer. So for example, i would be playing online games on one computer and if the other one is downloading something, i would be laggin similar to hell wheni play activity. is nearby a instrument to fix this?

completely run of the mill. your other puter is using the bandwidth heavily to download things. near's individual so big of a pipe.
also, are you using a G router that's 54 in size or a B router to be precise singular 11? G is much larger
Yes its helpful of average, depends on how in a hurry your internet nouns is. You can also slow the bandwidth on one computer if you want. Or you can brand the bandwidth slower for a specific program too
First net sure you are not confusing the internet filling next to the wifi wadding, plug surrounded by the 'downloading' computer using a cable and switch rotten its wifi for a testing.
If the cable solves your problem, you inevitability to reconfigure the wifi (change the canal, longer beams) and check your distances and antenna direction
If it doesn't, the answer is unnoticed surrounded by the first paragraph ;)
make sure your nouns is secured so other culture aren't downloading on your router as capably.
other next that if you want to share a nouns between 2 PCs afterwards you hold to share the bandwidth so yes it may slow down some, it shouldn't be THAT noticable though. if you own DSL or cable you can probably catch more bandwidth from your ISP, for an added cost of coarse
