So heres the piece, simply i dont wanna spend 180+ for skype phone and adapter to use it while computer is sour...ive be lookin and i see several adapters (40-50$) that i can use my home phone next to skype but i am not sure if the computer would involve to be on or not and thats the chief issue for me because i want to carry a number from skype a short time ago dont wanna step order an adapter if im goin to own to own the computer running 24/7 for that sole purpose. So if anyone have any input/useful information that would be great..thank you.

I'm afraid that for you want to do you will hold to look at the 180+ price bracket. The cheaper devices hook up to a USB port which finances have the computer running. Check them out, anyway.
