i plug in my cat5 web cable (which i plugged into my 2wire router) into my ps2, and my router does not see my ps2. it singular see it whenever i try to access the internet through socom II and it see it (i think) lower than an ip starting beside 75 (or conceivably this is socom?) but whenever i try to access the internet (to setup a make friends config) through my sony online startup disc, my router does not see my ps2... ive tried to embark on the ports for it but it still doesnt come online (the ps2) as normally as it should

i have to reset my cable modem by turning it stale and rear on again. i own to do it everytime i walk online near it, and also when i rehook it to my laptop. hope this help, but knowing network, i doubt that you'll be that lucky.
