my computer granted to stop me from anyone competent to drag and drop files. any philosophy on how to fix this? it's thoroughly irritating. I've tried numerous registry fixes found by googling the problem and i've tried right clicking the errand shaft and enable the drag and drop within within.

Answers: Because Vista is impossible to use and frightening.
I have this problem beside Vista for some function.
I fixed this problem short even knowing this be a "fix". I fixed this when I inserted a impulsive USB flash drive, copied the files (just unselective work files), and next after I removed the USB flash drive, I be competent to use F2 and rename my folders and files and drag and drop them.
I'm not sure what cause the problem, possibly it will work for you. Vista isn't that great, I'm going to XP after this work project is finished!
if your using IE7...click tools--internet options--advance--enable the drag and drop piece.
