Confused roughly speaking how frequent songs a blank compact disc will hold...?

If the blank disc bundle say
"80 min, 700 MB"

and iTunes say that the music catalogue contained by cross-examine is
"54.3 min, 50.1 MB"...

does that anticipate (going by MB #) i could in theory burn around 14 times that amount of music onto the disc? any info help... i'm so confused! gratitude. :)

Answers: For storage, you can fit up to 700MB worth of song.

For making a music disc and playing, you can single fit up to 80mins worth of song. You enjoy to convert the .mp3 format to a playable disc player codec to competent to play music disc.
MB routine mega bytes
the music document surrounded by itunes that say 50.1MB
technique, it have 50.1 mega byte,
it will fit on your 700 mega byte cd.
Theoretically, yes.

However songs, video, files etc. differ surrounded by size and length so it's knotty to make a contribution an exact amount of songs a compact disc will hold.
A blank compact disc to be used to manufacture an Audio disc will burn 80 minutes of music. You can burn as little or as lots songs you want but they own to equal 80 minutes. How tons megabytes the songs hold aren't taken within consideration. The single point why blank CD's hold 700 MB on it is to inform you the amount of megabytes it have only within casing you're using it to trade name a Data Disc.

Oh and I recommend you use Sonic Record Now to burn stuff, it's much easier.
To clarify:
The MUSIC disc ( playable on any compact disc player ) can lone hold just about 80 minutes of music.

A DATA disc ( playable on SOME compact disc players ) can hold 700MB of mp3 DATA files.

The typical mp3 file is around 5MB/song.

You do the math
