I own a Celeron Pc next to 310 MB Ram. Pls suggest undisputed process to produce my PC run fastter.
Answers: Add more RAM for starters. Run Defrag regularly to oblige Windows run more ably. The Windows defrag is ok, you only enjoy to move it alone while it runs. Use Norton Systemworks instead.
You can also comfort it start faster by preventing unnecessary programs from starting up.
Do this my clicking on Start, later run. Type MSCONFIG within the run box. This will bring up a systems box, from near, click on the tab STARTUP. This list adjectives of the programs that start up when you boot your system.
Be thorough here though, you don't want to uncheck any box for a program to be precise critical to start up. Just use some adjectives sense and uncheck boxes close to chat programs (AOL, Yahoo, ICQ) or programs that check for updates contained by the environment (Adobe). If you're unsure what it's for, you can adjust the vertical inn contained by the top of the header column to see the command row for the program.
Click apply, next ok. It will ask you to restart. Do that. Upon restart, you'll draw from a restraining box that you're using a selective startup. You can check the box "Don't show this in the future" to hold on to that from popping up.
Also consider uninstalling programs you don't stipulation.
Further, consider getting a faster complicated drive. Depending on how older your system is, your knotty drive might be relatively slow at 5400rpm. That is compared to todays standard of better than 7000rpm for the platters to spin.
The few things u can do is to set your desktop so that applications don't plain uo on startup and also a defragmentation will sort out your thorny drive other..these will not really speed up your system..
Since computers are so cheap at the present time you can let go up for one.approaching $500 will get hold of u a conceivable mechanism pentium 4 512 or even 1gig, if you r not into elevated appendage gaming...or u can spend $100 and grasp a pentium 3..
defragmentate your drives.this will remove cast-offs files and will build your computer faster.
