I hold a 3 1/2 Floppy Disk that say its not formatted and it have oodles esteemed files on it. There be no problem viewing the files formerly but within writ to format the disk, adjectives the files will be delete.
Does anyone know of a bearing to return with to the files on the disk or is is a lost effect?
Answers: Try the floopy surrounded by a different computer.
There may be dust/dirt inside the drive. Open the flap and blow definite firm inside to verbs it out.
This works on compact disc drives to. Dust can take on the lens.
You cannot copy files to floppy disk explicitly not formatted
If the disk own notes on it that technique it is already formatted.
-Insert the floppy disk within 3 1/2 disk drive.
-Place the cursor on desktop and right click the mouse, later select "unmarked folder".
-Click on "my computer" icon
-Right click on "3 1/2 floppy (A:)" after select "copy"
-Place cursor over "unusual folder" statue on desktop that you created afterwards right click and select "paste".
