Answers: I have need of some more information from you.
1. Is it a video report you are playing on your computer or are you playing it on your HDTV in the living room?
2. Do audio files play fine on your computer? This will detail me your nouns works fine.
If your nouns works fine on your computer and it is a folder specifically running on your PC afterwards it sounds to me you are merely missing a audio codec to play the database...Try dloading and installing the K-Lite Mega Codec Pack:

And if you are stil have troubles next dload and install the remarkably popular (but fearful user interface) VLC video player:

Did you check that your system volume isn't set to mute?
In Control Panel, click on Sounds, Speech and Audio Devices.
Then click on Adjust the System Volume.
Make sure that mute isn't checked. If it is, uncheck it.
VLC medium player plays everything. It's a free download.
Google it.
Unmute speakers. Give more volume. Is video playing? If yes, some problem beside audio driver. If no, problem beside medium player / report.. Try different medium players.
No codecs for audio. (NOT FOR THESE). If any coded is to be installed, it downloads them automatically.
