My computer wont read blank dvd's, i insert the disk into the computer and it starts spinning but when i try to burn a DVD (VOB) record it say "please insert disk into drive" its not of late tht DVD cos i've tried pretty a few, the program i am using to burn the dvd is WinAVI video converter, any relieve?
Answers: you stipulation other files to burn a dvd (vob, bup, ifo)
ex:
VIDEO_TS (folder)
contained by that folder:
VIDEO_TS.BUP
VIDEO_TS.IFO
VIDEO_TS.VOB
VTS_01_0.BUP
VTS_01_0.IFO
VTS_01_1.VOB
.etc
the AUDIO_TS is usually unnecessary, and if you do add on it to the dvd, it should be a void folder anyway.
Now, to burn it my DVD files I use Nero Burning Rom (free 15 hours of daylight trial) here:
http://www.nero.com/enu/index.html
Start up nero burning rom, top vanished cause sure it say DVD Not compact disc. On the vanished pane, select DVD-Video and adopt the default by clicking New. Now purely drag your entire Video TS folder to Video_TS on the gone.
You can use Nero Recode (same guy who made Shrink DVD, free, help build this program) (included) to copy uncopyright protected DVDs or Nero Vision to convert AVI's to DVD.
it have no information on it its blank!
so near is nil to pick up thats y
I'd resembling to see you read a blank book !! LOL
Which program are you using to burn?
Maybe the drive is malfunctioning? Does it read other disks?
Have you tried another brand of dvdr?
A) Have you tried different DVD formats (+R, -R, +RW, -RW)? Have you tried a disc to see if that works?
B) Are you sure you don't hold a compact disc writer instead? Have you checked your DVD writer to confirm it can lift adjectives formats?
C) Has it ever be working, or is it brand topical? If so, clutch it wager on.
This may be a silly interrogate... but do you own a DVD burner contained by the PC and is the medium the right sort?
Doesn't situation what software you've get, a DVD-ROM drive will *not* burn DVDs.
Doesn't situation what software you've get, a DVD-R writer or rewriter won't burn a DVD+R disk... or the other instrument round. Only a DVD+-RW drive will write onto adjectives commercially available (re)writable DVD and compact disc disks.
First check that the burner software is set to look for DVD roms, and not compact disc roms. Applications similar to Nero usually hold a drop down menu at the top to select between the two.
Secondly, check that the DVD rom that you're trying to write onto is supported by your DVD writer. Is it a DVD-R? Or a DVD+R, or DVD +/-R? Or even a DVD-RW?
DVD burners hold a format, analogous to VHS and Betamax, call DVD+ and DVD-.
Some unit can one and only read one or the other. What you call for is a DVD burner that will ecognise and burn to both of the formats, or buy the appropriate DVD format. You should know how to get hold of this information from your hardware supplier r by using software such as SiSoft Sandra.
