Not anymore. I have my husband install 3.5" floppy drives onto both of our computers so we could read the photos we have stored on that size disk ... but in a minute everything can be written on a compact disc or DVD, so the 'floppy disks' are going the approach of the Dodo Bird ...
Not anymore. My PC is almost 4 yrs feeble and I hold never used the A drive. Who requirements to next to disks, flash drives, etc...?

You can still seize them if you ask when you instruct a computer but it's not like peas in a pod.
They should...but not adjectives do.
Most culture are using CD's or the USB.
Yes, and a parallel and serial port. Call me frail fashioned but nearby are a great deal of peripherals out at hand that still own them.
Many computers in a minute are not manufactured next to floppy drives. I know on the beyond measure majority of computers that I build I do not install floppy drives, as the use of them are pretty much nil. The prime intention for them within times past be for storage of documents, etc, but in a minute near flash/jump drives, cd-r/rws, etc the inevitability for them is pretty much non-existent.
No, they individual hold 1.44Mb. A compact disc writer will write to 700Mb and DVD to over 4 Gb. I hold a couple of hundred lofty density floppy disks - no theory what to do next to them! I can buy CD's for smaller quantity afterwards I used to retribution for floppy disks. Re-writable DVD's are flawless - you can put a bet on up your complete complicated drive on those.
No they shouldn't because USB drives are safer, faster, larger, and are much easier.
It depends on whether or not you will use them. Newer PCs don't hold floppy disk drives, but a select few do. You can also purchase external drives or purely receive an internal drive installed. Nowadays they enjoy external firm drives, USB drives, CDs, DVDs and other methods of storing facts. Floppy disks aren't really practical in the present day because of their small size. An average being would require more than 1.44MB for storage, near the sizes and types of notes you would want to subsidise up or own on mitt. In other words, relatives wouldn't even be capable of store one MP3 report on a floppy disk, but they could store 30-40 on a 128MB USB drive and somewhere around 2000 on a 4GB USB drive. More and more society are using their PCs for medium a bit than Microsoft Word documents. I do remember the time I required to install a floppy disk drive in my Dell Dimension 3000 PC but couldn't because they must use a different shaped and sized drive than regular PCs.
In conclusion, it would be more logical to use USB drives to some extent than floppy disks, but it's your choice.
no at present beside the advance surrounded by technology the floppy drive have become antiquated
next to pen drives holding up to 6gig of information a floppy disc holds 1.44kb you win over 200 floppy discs on something you can maintain surrounded by your pocket in need losing the facts if you did it near a floppy you would lose adjectives your information
No. Floppy disk drives are non-operational.
