I recvd an error message that system have detected spyware and/or virus..I purchased Spyware Killer and downloaded it, still getting same errors. Such as, my homepage is in a minute give or take a few.blank...What is the problem?

Run ad-aware and spybot nearly once a week/fortnight, depending on how much stuff they hold finding. It sounds to me close to you bought yourself what is particular as a rogue removal program.
These are made to look close to tangible programs, but they scan, find results that don't exist, and later panic you next to the results untill you pass up your credit card number.
My suggestion is remove it ASAP and use Ad-Aware 2007.
