I have a sneaking suspicion that your using AVG, since it is regularly said that some virus can individual turn to the quarantine.
I would suggest getting a world specified anti-virus software such as Mcafee or Norton as these are bought by more ethnic group, accordingly theres more give support to if you ever capture stuck. If you can't afford that, freshly put the virus within the quarantine and it should be safe {although it really make empire surface in safe hands when it is deleted}.
