It might not be as discouraging as you deduce though.
First rotten, I'd take home a backup of everything you want to hold, should anything worse come about. (Then at smallest adjectives your music, documents etc are safe).
First port-of-call thereafter would be to start your workstation surrounded by safe-mode & run your anti-virus & spyware checkers..remove anything that they find.
Worst-case scenario would be a complete re-install of Windows, that would clear everything. Just formulate sure you're backed-up first.

All of them are free and great, consequently reenable system restore.
Incase system restore doesn't work after disable it restart ur laptop contained by safemode and look in
http://onecare.live.com and run the free safekeeping scanner to remove adjectives virus, spyware, malware, trojans, and most importantly registry errors and hope that fixes it. Then download the programs above.
Run scan from these softwares very soon after updating them and ur computer should be fine.
If none of these things work afterwards u will enjoy to re install window.

Recommend getting Norton/Symantec Anti-Virus client and set it to auto-update the virus definition.
Also set it to scan the computer respectively dark.
Virus free for copious years using this method. But you must start next to a verbs system.
Also suggest, divide easier said than done drive into 2 partition, C & D.
Restore verbs operating system and programs to the C drive.
Keep adjectives your created files on the D
drive.
Also recommend making regular backup of your bookmarks and emails on your D separator, as you will lose them when re-imaging.
Use "ghost" imaging software to construct a "copy" of your verbs system on C and store it on D.
