I forgot the password to my laptop and I call Microsoft for support... they basicly told me I be **** out of luck! And told me I have to hire someone to fix my computer because near be nil they could do over the phone. luckily I remembered what it be.

It depends on the type of laptop. Some enjoy jumper on the mainboard to reset a bios password. Some freshly involve removing the mobile for a few second.
If it's an IBM thinkpad, best of luck, heaps of those involve aquiring a chip and a programmer to reset.

what snuggleftus said might work, if it doesnt, after bring back a xp cd, and reinstall the operatting system, if you hold FILES that you necessitate, install another operating system next to the unproved and retrieve your info from the other operating system

Have you Windows or Mac or Linux OS ?
Windows :
1.- find a friend who have a friend who have a friend who know somebody who is pious at Linux OS - Linux does it in 2 second, leaves Windows and adjectives other programs intact
