4 days presently of this. I go onto the AVG free forum and read whats near. I did what it told me to do. and it still does not work. It told me to Allow ANONYMOUS_LOGON and the steps to do this. Still don't work. It is not firewalled or blocked. I own no clue what to do immediately. I lone hold the free extra. It say I call for to restart my notebook to finish the update,so I restart and it still say equal. I click update presently and it say Unsuccessful! GRRRR

if you really close to AVG, a short time ago uninstall it and reinstall
I'm not remarkably sure in the region of the problem you're facing but you can only catch "AVG Free" from download.com and update it once you bring back it installed.

First check your logon rights manner you must logon beside Administrator explanation. Try to check if any other previous installed Anti virus's log still nearby surrounded by your computer. If it wont work later uninstall it and reinstall it. Don't forget to restart your computer..
