Can you control the source of the firewall? If your router is firewalled, port forwarding will probably solve your problem. The process is involved, but not difficult if you know which type of router you are using and how it works.
disable ur firewall from the tools in ur internet explorer!
or re-install it !

Are you a Comcast customer?
if you are, comcast is blocking the peer to peer sharing process.
Illegally I might include.
Its aimed at preventing Bit Torrent exchanges.
Instead of blocking the sharing justifiably, what Comcast is doing is they are in fact impersonate its customers and tricking the seeders into thinking YOU own finished the download past it even starts. Basically its sending false RTF packet within your label.
In essence they are stealing your identity for a few second.
Its off the record...and more customers should complain.
I doubt you'd be using Comcast since you did ask the grill surrounded by Yahoo! Canada, but Rogers and Shaw are both doing similar things in Canada as what Comcast is doing in the states.
As capably, if you enjoy lately hooked up a router, or hold added any type of firewall program (ie Norton Internet Security), after you will own to allow the Limewire through the program.
