Further to my before minor Antivirus predicament, something deeply peculiar have happen. Approximately 200 files own appeared, as if by illusion, contained by "My Documents" folder. All are 1kb within size and enjoy titles resembling CA3E.IDX, SA5A.IDX, or STEA.IDX.
Microsoft say files are of unknown genesis (You're describing me!) so I cannot unfurl any of them to find out where on earth the blazes they come from.
I hold tried System Restore - but the files are still in attendance (They be not at hand yesterday)>
Before I lug to drink, smash the computer, or run past its sell-by date to weave the Foreign Legion, will someone please enlighten me what the blazes these things are and how to find rid of them.
Oh - I nearly forgot - I still don't enjoy Antivirus software at the moment.

Those files CA3E.IDX is a tracker, trackers are a type of server which maintain communication between peers and downloader- so i assume you might hold downloaded something of torrent.
And the thing you download be a virus or spyware, which made a course into your workstation.
I recommend bring back a professional, go and get a unmarked hardware.. completely start ur laptop again..(to be not dangerous!)

did you answer your own press when you said you haven't get antivirus software on your computer. Microsoft predicts it take around 3 minutes to contract a virus when connected to the internet near no antivirus, and that is to say also true even if you merely browse legitamate sites.
I would suggest delete those files if it allows you to and next downloading avg antivirus, its free and lots of ethnic group use it because it is reliable.
