I enjoy no thought why you are trying to run anti-virus in nontoxic mode. The single time I would ever speak about someone to be in motion into safe and sound mode to do anything beside a virus is to manually delete a profile... most programs don't run properly within protected mode. Safe mode is designed beside predetermined functionality.
First, I would recommend a reliable retailer for virus scanner such as mcafee.
You can also walk to lots top purveyor websites and run virus scan from their websites.. incase your virus scanner is not functioning properly, have be disabled, or you suspect something is wrong.
When you anti-virus finds the trojan it should furnish you information roughly the wallet it is finding.. and if it cannot delete it.. try one of the other option such as cleaning it or quarantining it... and write down the location! so that if you do progress into safemode you will know where on earth to turn to delete it. (if it's going to be as simple as that).
You can also clear your transient internet files folder out manually or from in the browser (if it will tolerate you)... C:\documents and settings\username\local settings\interim internet files\
Check your startup for programs running that shouldn't be near... to do this click Start > Run > type msconfig > hit enter > click on the Startup Tab > and look for the bug within..if you see it within within or suspect it is nearby.. uncheck it > click apply > OK > reboot
Try those option first and if you are still stuck agree to me know...
angelic luck.
it should make a contribution you a footsteps, where on earth the trojan is. or look within window explorer.
