Please can you help out a clean laptop user who is completely within the dim. lately beneficiary PIXIEFEET asked roughly speaking a dialer generic virus and i own equal problem near one and the same virus. Norton anti virus scanner picked it up and one of the option to concord beside it be to "exclude" it. In my ignorance I chose that substitute but looking after that at the Norton definition of the virus it say that excluding it is silly as this simply hide the virus so it can't be detected. How silly is that? My cross-examine is that`s why two fold. Firstly why do Norton distribute you that risk when it appears to compound the problem so that the virus can't be found again by the virus scanner and secondly can i win rid of it since resembling PIXIEFEET I enjoy done a full force out of the system and can't find the infected report.Hope someone can help out. Thank you.

I never close to the Repair/Quarantine/Delete choices. If it's clearly identified as a virus, I other delete it.
Here's my suggestion. Run Spybot Searhc and Destroy or do an online scan beside www.BitDefender.com .
If they don't fix it, they should explain to you the exact virus cross and infected files or registry key.
There are several level of repair and prevention. I conjecture you should install a firewall such as ZoneAlarm. I'll post a free download intermingle.

Norton, and most other anti-virus software provide you that resort because of the possibility of false positives. Some programs may be mistakenly flagged as a virus/spyware, so it is indispensable for an exclusion way out for legal programs which seize flagged.
I don't use Norton, so I can't guide you step-by-step on removing the infected wallet from exclusion. But I'm correctly sure you can do that by clicking Auto-Protect > Exclusions on the moved out peak.

ok dont listen to the blaa blaa in the region of restarting your computer restoring your computer or downloading adjectives these other scanners adjectives you own to do is this right click and pick investigational shortcut, after travel to browse, my computer, presario(c), program files, online services, bt yahoo once you hold done that in attendance should be a shortcut to bt yahoo and something similar to hppre05 !! explicitly your bug simply simply right click and delete simple as that. label sure verbs you rubbish bin and do a scan and that should be you prob sorted. consent to me know how you captureby
