Turning bad virus scan surrounded by Microsoft Word XP?

I enjoy Norton Anti Virus, and it scan a document everytime It open one. Turning past its sell-by date Auro-protect within the Norton confuguration panel does not appear to work prevent these scan. Does anyone know how to turn it rotten? Note that I don't stipulation relatives recitation me that I should not do this, I simply entail to know how to turn the document scan sour. Thanks.

Answers: Rather than twiddle near NAV, where on earth you might accidentally turn stale more protection than you really want to, you can choose to turn stale Word's invocation of NAV instead.

1. In Word XP (2002) and probably nearest version, click on the Tools->Options menu item.
2. Click the Security tab.
3. Click the Macro Security button.
4. The Low radio button is probably special. Click the Medium button instead.
5. OK out of everything.

Instead of calling NAV in a minute, Word will ask you if you aspiration to run macros contained by your documents.

Good luck.
Depending on the altered copy you hold, for NAV2007, which I own, jump to:
Settings,
Additional Options,
Virus and Spyware Protection Options,
Under Advanced Options, click on Miscellaneous,
Remove the tickmark in "Turn on scan for Microsoft Office Documents".

You may requirement to reboot for the adapt to fully steal effect.
