You're probably going to out of luck on this one if you don't know where on earth to look for it. The motivation why is because Microsoft give you the smallest size defaulting log size that they can when Windows * is installed. Then they don't see auditing of events, so it's probably not man logged anyway... If you're inkling lucky or approaching your box should hold be setup to in actual fact hold some rank of indemnity, check out Start/Programs/Administrative Tools/Event Viewer. You'll own the Application, Security, and System logs that you can look through. These logs are individual perfect for 256K by non-attendance.
Another item you might know how to do is to look at your wireless router, firewall, or other software that will hopefully be logging more information than your Windows * box. That depends on what system you own.
When you're all set to protected your computer system, check out www.nsa.gov/snac and next click on Operating Systems. Review and set the stuff that's in the Windows XP SNAC or doesn`t matter what OS you use. You'll dwindle your likelihood of individual owned by a significant border.
