I've turned sour the day after day scan because it be annoying me. How recurrently should I run a guide scan?
Answers:
I do agree near you that running each day scan is annoying and unnecessary. Usually running a scan every 5-10 days should do. If you stay away from lethal sites, don't interested suspicious correspondence or download unknown software, you may even scan once every 20-30 days! Just formulate sure that your AVG's Resident Shield is ON adjectives the time, and your AVG's database is up-to-date. Also whenever your computer behave strangely (like shuts down by itself, or slows down, or frequently hangs-up), it is recommended to do an on the spot scan next to your anti-virus and anti-spyware.
:)
Every time.
It depends on how much you use your PC. If you walk online everyday, consequently it probably isn't knowledgeable to turn stale the on a daily basis scan. If you don't dance online everyday next perchance once a week would suffice.
With AVG its a fritter away of time -AVG misses more than it finds.

I enjoy avg & i be told 2 do it once evry week
once aweek, but this is with the sole purpose if you own every item considered and configured propeply to defense your system against attacks and malawares.
what I be determined if you hold a accurate firewall, using your browser next to warranty option configured apt to block ad and unwanted cookies, and have a perfect spyware program resembling spybot or ad-ware so you can simply run you antivirus once a week.
honourable luck.
depends on what you are penetrating on the internet and how habitually you use the internet. I would use Firefox which you can automatically delete sensitive background and run the virus scan every two weeks or so. Again depending on what you are doing on the internet
Dude, I know how annoying the day after day scan is. Turn it rotten!, as long as everything else is turned on, i.e. Firewall, e-mail scanner etc, nought can crop up, can it! So really if your on your computer every daylight, these things will preserve it protected, you should run a full scan perchance every 2 weeks, of late to check adjectives your files. But if it finds something threatening it tell you anyway, so you dont requirement a scan every morning.

Don't listen to the haters that detail you to trash AVG. AVG is a massively suitable, free program. Keep using it if you hold it set up would be my counsel. I would set up AVG to do a virus scan every Sunday at 12 PM, because you probably will own you gadget turned on on Sundays and once a week should be polite plenty.
PS you should other run a virus scan once you finish a download on that record (the downloaded file) this is mode of a purely surrounded by luggage precaution, and various times will oblige you avoid catching a virus, which is other a horrible experience.
If you download stuff, check files as you download (right click file>scan near AVG). Then scan workstation once a week. If you don't download stuff, merely scan weekly. You can diary when and what is scan. It does slow down computer, but I hold mine planned for 2 am. I am seldom on my workstation at this time. Make sure your firewall is enabled. This will sustain cut down on virus, too.
Depends on how you use your computer, if download a great deal stuff or pop in suspicios sites i recommend you to scan your computer at lowest possible 2 times per week. If you with the sole purpose use your notebook to check your letters and bureau work i will say-so once per week. The critical article is that you should hang on to your AV software up to date.
On Mondays and Fridays beside McAfee.
