I am giving away a computer. I own uninstalled software and hardware but I'm worried nearly someone still person competent to access out-of-date documents or even internet history. I know a short time ago because you delete something doesn't indicate it's necessarily gone from your computer harddrive.
I've used CCleaner, Antitracks, AVG, Norton, Super Winspy, Privacy Guardian, Neteraser, IndexDatSpy, etc but are my index.dat files really erased? How do I know all of my olden documents, passwords, websurfing, etc. is really gone?
