There's a message hold popping out asking me to update my threats signature as its expired, but when i click on UPDATE NOW, it shows that the update be not required, I have checked and finds that the update in reality up-to-date, its merely that the update reminder message maintain popping out. What's wrong?

Could be because it get corrupted.
Download AOL Active Virus Shield again, and install it over the current one you own on your computer.
Then try updating again. Hope this help.
No it is not corrupt however the interface between the updater and the reminder requirements to be reset however look surrounded by the option and turn the update reminder you can postpone ot to a max of 14 days

AVS have be discontinued totally by AOL and all updating is also mortal stopped. (mine stopped updating later week).

While it singular updates going on for 3 times a hours of daylight, it's virus detection rates are comparable to our ancient Active Virus Shield.
Active virus shield have be totally shutdown. No more updates for anyone. Zilch. You necessitate to uninstall it and win a fresh antivirus program.I recommend Antivir. It have a difficult detection/removal rate than avg or avast. It is free.
This problem should not exist anymore. It is newly that aol be discontinuing the service because it have no agreement near kaspersky anymore. But it looks approaching the av is still available
AOL stopped the update service but near is a simple hack to gain the updates from Kaspersky servers instead of AOL. See attached URL
