I have a sneaking suspicion that here must be some caring of virus on my computer?

Basically my computer's be acting up. The mouse messily stopped working and a scrambled table have be printed out. I didn't see the printout come to pass but it be lying in the tray. Restarting the computer nullified the mouse's ill-effect, but I'm worried that this could effect persistent blight or be a complete bind. Does anyone know what this is and what files I necessitate to go and get rid of? My anti-virus software isn't exactly the best for this.
