The HOSTS wallet is a poor agency to block a website, but if you must.
The folder is usually located contained by the following folder in your c: drive and is call "hosts":
windows\system32\drivers\etc
Edit the profile surrounded by notepad and incorporate entries such as:
127.0.0.1 runescape.com
127.0.0.1 www.runescape.com

Also, do the following:
1. Clear out your Internet History (as Phil said) and restart the browser.
2. Flush your DNS. Start button, Select Run...
and type the following and hit Enter: ipconfig /flushdns

You probably have need of to clear your pro tem internet folders, history, etc. You do this in IE via tools, internet option, the standard tab, or contained by Firefox-tools, clear private information.
