What's the best antivirus/spam for Windows VISTA?

Answers: I would update the Windows Defender and Windows Firewall for those threats. Then I would download the FREE AGV anti-virus from http://www.download.com

You see, your BRAIN is the best defense. Don't a short time ago initiate any e-mail attachment. Don't lately progress to any website. BE SMART something like how you Surf and read e-mail.

Good luck and Happy Computing!
Personally, in my view Norton Security is really reliable.
Both Norton and McAfee work fine, and they're idiot-proof (Norton berates you if you try to uncap a suspicious email attachment). The problem beside both of them is that they're resource hogs, which cause frequent general public to shut them rotten. But if you own Vista, the expectation is that you hold a powerful computer (or at least possible agree to's hope you do, if not Vista is going to whitewash it senseless), so it won't hurt to go off your Antivirus software on adjectives the time.

I would suggest Norton and a couple new free programs: Spybot Search & Destroy and the free publication of Lavasoft Ad-Aware. And it doesn't hurt to use Firefox beside adblock and a suitable spam filter for your email (if your email provider doesn't already use one).
