You will be downloading "stuff" from unknown stranger's computers while they will be uploading from your computer at impossible to tell apart time. You do not download from any website.
It is amazing that inhabitants who would never adopt and devour a sandwich from a stranger, don't suggest twice around downloading a database to their PC from a ultimate stranger, who lives half-way around the World!
If you don't know the difference between a .wmp (good) wallet from a .wmf (potentially intensely bad) record or a .closure from a .pif, consequently stay away from Limewire, Kazaa, and adjectives P2P programs. The same is true if you don't know the difference between a song to be exact 25kb contained by size from one to be precise 3 mb contained by size. The smaller one is probably a Trojan, lately waiting for you to infect your computer beside.
P2P file-sharing is no place for computer novice. Even experienced expert users bring back infected using P2P at times.
If you must use P2P, other scan every profile you download near both your anti-virus and your anti-spyware back you unscrew it.
