It is not viable within Yahoo. This be done to prevent bots (piece of software that sends out messages to everyone surrounded by the room - usually some advertiser or solicitation). In our own interest and organized to enhance Yahoo experience, Yahoo have introduced this aspect (yes, it is a characteristic not a nuisance).
