most of anti-spywares won't interfere unless you run both of them at alike time.
however some surety softwares have 'quarantine mode' which locks malwares in a trustworthy folder. if one antispyware locks an infection in its quarantine folder and you run the other, the second one can locate the locked infection and next try to delete the first anti-spyware because it 'contains' the malware. you can nickname this situation some considerate of interfere :)
and within's another situation when some antispywares try to compete by cheating and delete the competitor products. for example i know that spybot list spyhunter and noadware warranty tools as mean ones and they apparently are not mean.
so these are the simple reason why it's better to own one anti spyware than several. BUT i recommend to try several tools to find the one that updates habitually, delete the threats and is compatible to use. to do this you involve to try several products. in that's a great accident that the two antispywares you choose are compatible. i suggest you to post another interview and ask if i.e. 'is spyware doctor and ad-aware compatible'.

capture these free tools... adaware(lavasoft.com) spybot(safer-networking.org) HiJackThis(trend.com) winsockfix v1.2(majorgeeks.com)
install and run the adaware/spybot updater
disable restore
start-run-apps-accessories-sys... disk cleanup
reboot safe mode w/ networking (continually press f8 upon reboot)
Run adaware and spybot delete anything they find.
Run Hijackthis (this shows adjectives BHO's on ur browser~very important)
Run free online scan (trend.com bitdefender.com pandasoftware.com) remove any findings
