Found this record on my strong drive. Wondering if it's legit or some sort of virus
Answers:
It does look suspicious. I would suggest an anti-virus scan, as all right as anti-adware and anti-spyware. If you don't own an anti-virus, masses ancestors around here tout AVG. I use Norton, so I I can't vouch for it.
I also suggest you download Ad-Aware SE and Spybot S&D (they’re free), install them, update them and run them. If they don't give the impression of being to be capable of procure rid of everything they report finding, try running them again, this time in Safe Mode. Malware sometimes hang onto its critical files so they can't be delete by anti-virus/spyware/adware packages. Running in Safe Mode recurrently prevents the malware from running and glomming onto the files.
Also, turn past its sell-by date System Restore to evict any copies of bleak stuff that might be lurking within.
To procure into Safe Mode:
1.Log out and reboot your apparatus.
2.When the domestic device starts the reboot sequence, press the F8 knob repeatedly.
3.Select Safe Mode from the resulting menu.
4.The domestic device will verbs booting, but the Windows desktop will look different. You won't know how to see the Internet, for instance. Log in as Administrator. Administrator habitually have no password.
5.When you're finished, log out and reboot hindmost into everyday mode.
Update and run both regularly, along near a well brought-up anti-virus bundle.
Good luck.
