Most imagined it is backweb and is looking for updates for some program on your computer. You could allow it and see what it is updating and later turn sour updates contained by that program.
Go to tools in your internet explorer tool shaft afterwards internet option, after delete adjectives interim files, cookies etc. etc.
Run your antivirus programme.
Download Spybot Search and Destroy and run that.
