shows a constant pop-up from my Windows toolbar (the one at the bottom of the screen) claiming my "security" wants updating (and to click here). I know this is bogus but can't come across to gain rid of it. I run SpyBot and thought it have be removed, but still getting the pop-up.
Any concept?

Try running it again in Safe Mode:
To draw from into Safe Mode:
1. Log out and reboot your mechanism.

I agree beside G4acre. Smitfraudfix is the path to turn. It removes plentiful things other spyware give up trailing.
Download and install Superantispyware consequently check for updates. Reboot your computer and as it is starting up, dance to Safe Mode by holding down the F8 knob.
