You're right, they don't download by themselves.
There are two possible solutions I see here:
1) Either, he have downloaded the stuff and denying it. In which-case, you've get two choices:
A) You can permit it step underneath the pretense that he's a guy and guys do stupid things sometimes. It's in our temper.
B) Well, you could not consent to it turn. I concede if he did download the stuff he made a big mistake and it's really up to you whether you want to forgive him or not.
2) Maybe, he did it accidentally. I've done that formerly plenty of times. Unfortunately beside a P2P program similar to LW, you a moment ago can't relay what kinda stuff is going to come through. I guess if within's heaps of it it's too much to be a coincidence. Ask yourself how long he's have LW, and stuff similar to that.

First rotten, Limewire does not create any humane of history or log record for seaches or downloads.
Second, You could prod Windows History or Recent Files.
Open My Computer>C:\>Document and Settings>'user'. Open History and select a time. And/or On the Menu lump select Tools>Folder Options, select View tab, select Show Hidden Files and Folder, select Apply>Ok. Open the Recent folder and sort by Date Modified.
