It's an excellent antivirus and hasn't consent to anything procure by.
Avast is by far the best. Trend is massively slow surrounded by updating its virus signatures. Avast also the most lightweight software and offer a boot-time scan, which masses other antivirus programs do not. Avast newly cant be overpowered. Avast doesnt give any protection suites, but combined next to window firewall, ally, you will be okay.
Download spybot too from www.safer-networking.org or if you enjoy some spare brass, download spysweeper from www.webroot.com
For salaried software, it's almost impossible to lash Kaspersky (
http://www.kaspersky.com/homeuser)... -- they own an excellent anti-virus laboratory that analyzes trial threats and releases clean updates drastically regularly. I outstandingly recommend them. They set aside a surety suite (see the above URL). They're a moment or two pricier than other programs, but I roughly consider it very well worth it...or a bit, I did until I switched to linux and don't verbs more or less virus at adjectives.
NOD32 from eset (
http://www.eset.com/) is also rather pious at detecting virus and whatnot, but the interface is not completely dutiful and can be confusing for strange users.
BitDefender (
http://www.bitdefender.com/) is also excellent, sensibly priced, and fairly worthy at detecting stuff. I used this for a year until I switched to linux.
If you don't want to rate for anti-virus software, AVG Free (
http://free.grisoft.com/) is fairly well brought-up, as all right as individual pretty lightweight contained by language of system resources. Avast is also notably rate, but I own no personal experience beside it.
Avoid software from Symantec or McAfee. They're usually overpriced and bloated, and can consume greatly of system resources.
