I enjoy it and run it and it found lots of problems on my 2000 Windows ME computer. Can I trust the program to fix problems and not mess things up?
Is nearby anything else recommended to fix a messed-up registry that be probable messed up by a virus? (The registry is corrupted to the point that I can't access the internet through IE or AOL anymore, and I can't load/run any antivirus software.)

To solve this problem please follow this steps:
1) First download sdfix from here:

2) Now stockpile this sdfix folder on your desktop and extract it here only
3) Now restart your notebook within secure mode and run that sdfix scan your workstation by pressing 'y' and a short time ago follow the instruction properly
it will automatically make well adjectives the virus.
4)after this check whether you can run 'regedit' from run box if yes this funds that very soon your registry virus is healed
5) Now you can run antivirus

There is spamware near that program. Dump it and achieve Registry FirstAid. It is also free, have no secondary spam,spy or any other ware near it. I tried RM and after RFA found even more. Is sheltered to use.
Try downloading http://ad-aware.com, later update it and consent to it look thru your electrical device. It will find adware, and spyware which can gum up the contraption moral. After running ad-aware, after RFA
If you enjoy that copious problems, afterwards no registry cleaner or utility program is going to fix it. What you can do is install your altered copy of Windows over your present one. That will replace missing files but also hold your current files and stuff. Not a format but a short time ago a reinstall.

If you download a registry editor of any form and it doesn't create a backup automatically earlier it make change, stop it and uninstall it. It's not worth even human being FREEWARE.
