I hold a tojan virus on my workstation. I hold tried to delete it/ quarentine it but am incompetent to do so. Can anyone recommend any programs i can download to delete it . Thanks!

Normally your malware programs will delete these beast. If this is not the crust you should be aware that plentifully of virus, spyware & adware are designed to sit within RAM, the registry and System Restore and because of this will return even after delete or re-booting. Removing can be for a moment time consuming but thank goodness not impossible. Yes here are copious sites offering solutions to removal but why not do the open yourself?
First of adjectives you must turn bad System Restore. This can be achieve by going to ‘Start’ > ‘My Computer’ > ‘Properties’ > Open the ‘System Restore’ tab next see “Turn rotten system restore on adjectives drives” > click apply > click ok.
It is immediately best to re-boot your computer contained by Safe Mode – (achieved by pressing F8 continually during boot up) this should clear out the malware in RAM and the registry.
You must presently run your anti virus and anti spyware and anti adware software and delete or quarantine any virus or spies found.
Re-boot your computer contained by usual mode and complete another virus check. If adjectives comes stern verbs don’t forget to turn on System Restore.

Go to www.trend.com . Once in that look for housecall and scan your puter. It will verbs the trojan for you and if it can't it will put in the picture you where on earth it is, so you can appropriate it out yourself. Make sure when done to leave your recycle bin.
try AVG antivirus/Avast or spybot survey & verbs.

In standard, Windows does not allow the deletion of files when they are in use. However, Safe Mode will with the sole purpose nouns a minimum amount of drivers and services to run Windows, giving removal a better arbitrary. Scan again and attempt to delete while your computer is in sheltered mode.
To access Safe Mode, reboot after repeatedly press the F8 knob at the first blind. The peak will look strange, but don't hysterics. This is majority within Safe Mode.
When finished removing that pest, reboot again to return to commonplace mode.
