Which anti-virus is lowest on system resources? NOT AVG ew.?

I hold switched to NOD32 only just from Kaspersky. It found a trojan I tested it near, and my computer starts up much, much quicker !

=D Any thinking of a product explicitly fitting, and would run on my system next to a smaller number usage of system RAM. I know better than to use AVG or Norton, so please do not patronise or bother me beside those suggestions. 10 points may be on submission, here. :)

Answers: You've made the right judgment as NOD32 uses the least possible amount of resources and have the matchless detection rate of over 99%. It's the anti-virus I instinctively use. The best anti-virus is ESET NOD32 later Kaspersky. NOD32 is the lone anti-virus that get an Advanced+ rating in test conducted at http://www.av-comparatives.org/...

The most popular free anti-virus programs (AVG and Avast) hold poor detection rates (82.82%, 87.46% respectively). Norton is disreputably bloated and take forever to act full systems scan.

It have be proven these NOD32 and Kaspersky are better than the best seller (Norton and McAfee):

I use Avast (http://www.avast.com/) free home edition. It's be flawless for me for 2-3 years in a minute.
AVAST the best in ressource and use
Zone alarm have it adjectives and straightforward on my system.
Doodad
well I too am a user of nod 32 and i reckon its one the best and without doubt doesnt embezzle much knock against usage. bring prudence!!
Zone Alarm is streamlined, outstandingly rate and does not consume resources resembling AVG and Norton. Best all the same the rough and ready text is free (Firewall), next to anti virus and anti spy it is around $50.

Also near trail reward you take it free. I did the business card, which I could use, spent around $8 and get it free.

I use AOL's Active Virus Sheild. It's powered by Kaspersky and it's free. You could try it if you don't approaching it a short time ago uninstall as you won't enjoy dried up money on it.
