Answers: The free anti-viruses are worthy plenty to find you by most of the time. NOD32 and Kaspersky are the best if you are going to buy, but if you want a free anti-virus I recommend here establish (install singular one):

1. AVG Free
a. A simple interface (easier to use than Avast! and Avira)
b. Can detect nearly 82.82% of viruses
Cons: low virus detection

2. Avast!
a. Real-time protection
b. It have an picking to delete a virus once found
c. Can detect give or take a few 87.46% of virus.
Cons: Too copious icon and confusing user interface

3. Avira AntiVir
a. It can detect malware better than Avast and AVG
b. It's cute umbrella icon
c. Can detect roughly 94.26% of viruses
Cons: A completely sluggish update

If you want to buy, I just recommend buying NOD32 (advanced users) or Kaspersky. It have be proven these products are better than the best seller (Norton and McAfee):

go to www.fsecure.com this antivirus is better than the rest, more reliable, includes material time protection against sapyware, malaware, etc., it also scan the files you're downloading in the time you're downloading it and the best entity is that it hasn't be breached close to Norton, Symantec, etc.
I consider Norton to be the best. It may slow your operation but it is worth what you clear. Having said that, I find the protection that my service provider provides modest so far.
i enjoy Mcafee but u gotta buy it at a store though.
For your anti-virus wishes, I would suggest Avira AntiVir(R) PersonalEdition Classic. It have excellent heuristics, a virus detection rate to be precise better than oodles of "paid-for" anti-virus programs and is fluffy on using your computer's resources. And did I mention that it's free!

BTW, Avoid the free, copy of an anti-virus call AVG, it is like wildfire popular, but it have horrible virus detection capibilities.

Enjoy!
