I want to set passwords on my computer to prevent unauthorised access surrounded by the bios but am not sufficiently expert to do so. I set the password surrounded by the bios afterwards collect and exited but on booting up again, the computer go right through respectively time as though in that be no password. This happen both on supervisor and user password setting. Help.

Bios password with the sole purpose is for getting into bios. Unless you enjoy a newer bios that asks for a password up to that time it allows the os to boot?
Did you try to access the BIOS or only log into window?
All the bios maker I know enjoy no password, which they do because copious relatives forget it and afterwards do not enjoy the extra fortune to carry into window.
