They utter it help make out inadequately scan primer from books, but couldn't it be smoothly related to a bot that runs into CAPTCHAs and uses the unsuspecting, do-gooders to solve them.
ie:
1. bot tries to create a yahoo picture, but runs into a CAPTCHA.
2. bot sends CAPTCHA out to someone using reCAPTCHA.
3. human being solves definite CAPTCHA and CAPTCHA that origionally come from yahoo.
4. bot take solution and uses it to create a phoney user or post a spam comment.
I only just want to see the results of reCAPTCHA. Where's evidence of progress on these scantily scan books? Have I merely uncovered a scam?

reCAPTCHA is made by those who created the CAPTCHA surrounded by the first place: Carnegie Mellon University - a severely well-respected teaching institution. reCAPTCHA uses a public/private knob couple to protect the CAPTCHA system from person used the road you describe. It would be rather difficult to verbs it past its sell-by date (probably not impossible).
The MyProBB network forum uses reCAPTCHA as the one and only leader CAPTCHA plugin.
