I would close to to know a few things around these firewalls. First piece which one of these firewalls are better at keeping virus,spyware and hackers out of your workstation? And which one uses smaller number system resources so it will not slow down my notebook? Also they will be the free ones. Thanks

comodo firewall is better beside the resources. Make sure u other use a antivirus beside a firewall do firewalls dont other stop virus and trojans
I enjoy zone alarm it is a bit of a resource hog
but it comes next to a anti-virus and a anti-spyware
It can monitor every program to see if its trying to do something doomed to failure or tries to connect to the internet but you can turn that rotten to collect resources
individually I believe that zonealarm is obedient firewall if you know what your doing and know how firewalls work (or your prepared to learn)
