I've lost my password, how do I block other users from access my WiFi?
Answers:
once you hold gotten into your router or access point, at hand are some knob things to do.
1. move the failure to pay SSID. loose change it to something stupid approaching breadcrumb or toenail. something that isn't going to be guessable.
2. turn rotten the SSID broadcast. this routine that you will have need of to setup your nouns manually, but at least possible its not out at hand for everyone to see.
3. Turn on MAC address filter. This allows you to control who is allowed on or not, base on the burned surrounded by address on every NIC card. BTW, you will want to put your MAC address surrounded by the filter to allow access.
4. Use a WPA or WEP push button.
some other stuff you could do
a. turn stale DHCP and manually assign your machines addresses
b. set off DHCP on and do static DHCP
if u indicate the routers password the defaulting is admin .. theres usually a button in a pinhole u push for a few second somewhere on the router to reset it ...
